Monthly Seminar Fee: $ 250.-

Teaching material and Certificate of Attendance free of charge.

 

FLUENCY SEMINAR
Duration: 4 months.

Requisite: ELT

Description: This seminar aims at helping students with an ELT level of English to activate the language they have already learnt. It consists in intensive practice, using varied audio-visual techniques and approaches. Emphasis is laid on pronunciation and intonation, phonetics and phonology, which contribute to improve your fluency and lead you to use English naturally.

Certificate: on completion of the seminar attendees will be awarded a Certificate of Attendance, worth 40 credits for students at INSTITUTO SUPERIOR DEL TRADUCTORADO.

Certificates: Attendees who have completed any of the seminars will be awarded Certificates of Attendance, worth 10 credits for students at INSTITUTO SUPERIOR DEL TRADUCTORADO.
DAE: The attendance to 10 (ten) A-Level Seminars qualifies BEST Certificate holders who have attended the four-month Fluency Seminar to sit for a paid final examination for the DAE (DIPLOMA IN ADVANCED ENGLISH, C.V.I.).

 

PEDAGOGY SEMINARS: HELT
Monthly Pedagogy Seminars: May, June, September, October & November.

Requisite: ELT
Timetable: Mondays from 12.30 to 13.30 hrs.
Description: Teaching techniques ranging form presentation to evaluation.
Certificates: Attendees who have completed any of the seminars will be awarded Certificates of Attendance, worth 10 credits for students at INSTITUTO SUPERIOR DEL TRADUCTORADO.
HELT: The attendance to 5 (five) Pedagogy Seminars qualifies Traductores Técnico-Científicos to sit for a paid final examination for the HELT (HIGHER ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING CERTIFICATE, C.V. International).

 

CURSOS CORTOS / SEMINARIOS - Concepto General

Duración: 1 mes a 4 meses

 

Los cursos cortos pueden ser realizados por alumnos con conocimiento elemental a avanzado del idioma inglés según su especialidad. Sus contenidos y actividades incluyen:

 

Especialización y/o actualización del postulante en un área específica.
Áreas: gramática, literatura, fonética, fonología, lingüística, traducción de economía, técnica y científica, formación docente, relaciones públicas, comunicación, periodismo, turismo, entre otras.
Sesiones teórico-prácticas intensivas.
Actividades participativas.
