The Argentine Association of Technical-Scientific Translators (AATT) offers Spanish coaches and language schools its TSE International examinations in Spanish.

 

What are the TSE International in Spanish?

 

The TSE (acronym for Translation Skills Examinations) are supplementary evaluations in Spanish comprehension and production.

 

Their goals are:

 

1) To evaluate the acquisition of content and the development of the linguistic abilities stipulated by the NFLS,

2) To promote academic excellence through the challenge international exams present.

3) To internationally certify the level of Spanish acquired by the end of the year or a cycle.

 

Who are the TSE International in Spanish for?

 

The TSE International in Spanish have been designed for English speakers learning Spanish as a foreign or second language.

 

What do the TSE International in Spanish evaluate?

 

They evaluate reading comprehension in Spanish, précis writing in Spanish, translation from English into Spanish and translation from Spanish into English.

 

How are the TSE International in Spanish given?

 

The AATT forwards the TSE International in Spanish examination papers to the authorized coaches and language schools. The candidates sit for the examinations under the supervision of their own teachers who return the completed papers to the AATT in order to be corrected by an Evaluation Board at the Instituto Superior del Traductorado-DIPREGEP 5649.

 

What certification do the candidates get?

 

Upon the results of the corrections by the Evaluation Board, the candidates are issued the TSE International in Spanish certificates. These Certificates of International Proficiency give faith of the degree of language ability evinced in the different sections of the evaluation. The Certificates are issued following the international CV format, in English and accompanying Spanish translation.

 

What recognition do the TSE International in Spanish have?

 

The TSE International in Spanish from the Argentine Association of Technical-Scientific Translators are sponsored by New Oxford Institute (La Plata-BA), under the auspices of the Instituto Superior del Traductorado-DIPREGEP 5649, approved by Torres & Torres Private Museum and recognized by the Linguistic World Corporation.

 

How much do the TSE International in Spanish cost?

 

The TSE International examination papers, the correction of the papers and the issuing of the certificates has a cost of 115 euros (in European countries) or 150 American dollars (in American countries) per candidate.
